Phytosanitary Certificate
A Phytosanitary Certificate is an official document issued by the plant protection organization of the exporting country to the plant protection organization of the importing country.
Inspection and other related activities leading to issuance of phytosanitary certificates shall be carried out only by or under the authority of the official national plant protection organization. The issuance of phytosanitary certificates shall be carried out by public officers who are technically qualified and duly authorized by the official national plant protection organization to act on its behalf and under its control with such knowledge and information available to those officers that the authorities of importing contracting parties may accept the phytosanitary certificates with confidence as dependable documents.
Health Certificate
All consignment of Indian Fishery products exported to the EU are required to be accompanied by a numbered original health certificate, comprising a single sheet duly completed, signed and dated. The original of the health certificate is required for customs clearance at the destination and shall be made available to the customs authorities at the destination before the arrival of the consignment. The consignments cannot be cleared on the basis of a copy of the original or on the basis of a fax copy of the original. Health Certificate to be given before shipment & cannot be given retrospectively.
GSP Certificate
Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) is a preferential tariff system extended by developed countries (also known as preference giving countries or donor countries) to developing countries (also known as preference receiving countries or beneficiary countries). It involves reduced MFN Tariffs or duty-free entry of eligible products exported by beneficiary countries to the markets of donor countries .
